Find out about all the performances and activities of Dance Beyond Borders you can attend to during the Refugee Week 2024.

Dance Beyond Borders are excited to announce the programme for Refugee Week Malta, taking place from Friday, 14th June to Sunday, 23rd June. There are multiple events, and we encourage you to check out the full schedule here.

Below isa list of their performances, Films and some activities that you can participate in. Your support by attending and spreading the word about these events would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Friday 14th June to Saturday 16th June: Sejjah lil Maltaby Tania El Khoury: 430pm-730pm by Lascaris Water Taxi Station, Valletta
  2. Monday 17th till Saturday 22nd June: Għeruq Imħabblinby artivist Chakib Zidi. Outdoor performance across six localities in the evenings
  3. Thursday 20th June:March for Peace – 6pm in front of The Parliament, Valletta
  4. Friday 21st June: Green Border, Film followed by a Discussion about Migration, Borders and Boundaries, hosted by El Hiblu 3 Coalition from 730pm – 11pm at Spazju Kreattiv Cinema. Here is the Trailer
  5. Saturday 22nd June: Multicultural Exhibition from the Sudanese, Eritrean & Libyan Communities– 3pm till 10pm, Valletta Design Cluster
  6. Sunday 23rd June:Spark Fest by Spark 15: 4pm – 11pm at Balzunetta, Floriana – this will be the closing event of the festival.

Refugee Week Malta celebrates the diverse community in Malta and honours the creativity, contributions, and resilience of those who have had to flee their homes for safety.
