Got plans for the weekend? Join Fidem Foundations' first MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS FESTIVAL at Pembroke Tennis Club and Padel Malta courts, Triq l-Imħallef Harding, Pembroke.
Make a date with your mental health on Sunday 6th October and experience the positive benefits of physical activity on your mental wellbeing.
They are putting together a super line up of activities and a few surprises too. All activities are free, except for the Spinning Challenge.
A supervised children’s play area will also be set up on site. David Ozi Borg will be the master of ceremonies on the day and special guests will include sports psychologist Dr Adele Muscat. Therapists and a coach will be available for free impromptu counselling sessions throughout the morning.
- 9am: Walk and Talk with Dogs led by Alison Bezzina, Commissioner for Animal Welfare (start and end at Padel Malta courts, Pembroke. The walk will take around 45 minutes)
- 10am: Yoga with Marita Jagals (for men and women)
- 10am: Start of the Spinning Challenge (NOTE: registration required against a fee of 15 Euros.)
- 10.30am: Motivational Speeches
- 11.30am: Zumba with Elaine Schembri (for all ages)
- 12pm: Music with Kevin Paul Calleja and Claudia Faniello
- 1pm: End of Spinning Challenge
- 2pm: Legs and Abs Class with Denise Cuschieri (for all)
ALL DAY: Free access to Padel, Tennis and Pickleball
ALL DAY: Therapists/coach will be on hand for impromptu counselling sessions.
