From stigma to strength
Join Richmond Foundation's annual conference on November 21st!
Richmond’s 2023 Annual Conference is taking place on the 21st of November at Villa Arrigo between 9am and 4pm.
This year’s conference is a momentous event celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Foundation. For this reason the chosen theme for this year’s conference is “From Stigma to Strength: Honouring 30 years of Mental Health Advocacy”. With its core mission of supporting and advocating for individuals with mental illness, the Foundation has chosen a theme that resonates deeply with its work.
This conference aims to highlight the transformative journey from stigma to strength, placing a special emphasis on recognising and honoring the clients who have played a vital role in shaping the Foundation’s endeavors. By providing various presentations, and discussions, the conference seeks to create an inclusive platform for learning, sharing experiences, and fostering collaboration within the mental health community. In addition to celebrating the journey from stigma to strength in mental health advocacy, the Annual Conference 2023 will address the importance of mental health in various sectors, including education, health, and the workplace. The conference aims to explore the impact of mental health on these sectors and discuss strategies to promote mental well-being in each of them. By focusing on these areas, the conference aims to raise awareness and provide practical solutions to create mentally healthy environments in schools, healthcare settings, and workplaces.
Through highlighting the significant progress made in mental health advocacy over the past three decades, the conference endeavors to inspire further advancements in the field and continue the crucial work of destigmatising mental health issues.
Join Richmond at Villa Arrigo, Naxxar, Malta, on the 21st of November, as we commemorate this milestone and collectively strive towards a world where mental health is embraced with strength and compassion.
