Gozo Capacity Building Training
Join the capacity-building training for voluntary organisations in Gozo on May 25th.
The Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector is organising a capacity-building training for voluntary organisations in Gozo. The session will cover two important topics relevant to voluntary organisations: Strategic Planning and Fundraising, including crowdfunding training. Please find more information regarding the training below.
Part 1: Strategic Planning by Mr Mauro Pace Parascandalo
The strategic planning training session will cover various aspects including identifying organisational challenges, exploring different approaches to planning and managing strategy, and understanding the risks and benefits of implementing new strategies. Participants will learn how to manage conflicts within teams, mitigate risks, analyse the impacts of strategy implementation, and design policies for successful execution. Additionally, key steps in change management will be highlighted to foster organisational adaptability.
Part 2: Fundraising and Crowdfunding Training by Mr Anthony Cassar
The Fundraising and crowdfunding session will cover strategies to boost fundraising efforts, such as creating a thorough fundraising plan, diversifying funding sources, and engaging donors effectively. Participants will also learn to utilize social media and crowdfunding platforms, organize fundraising events, and explore collaboration opportunities with corporations to expand financial support. Emphasis will be on demonstrating donation impact, maintaining transparency, and expressing gratitude to donors.

Deadline to submit your registration is 23rd May 2024 – noon.
Each voluntary organisation may apply for a maximum of 2 volunteers. Training sessions will have an intake of a maximum of 20 participants, hence we encourage VOs to submit their application as soon as possible to secure your spot.
