Malta Dementia Society Conference and Gala dinner

Malta Dementia Society would like to welcome you to the upcoming International Conference on Dementia in Malta, as well as the Gala Dinner to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Malta Dementia Society. This is the first ever local conference on dementia being organised in Malta.

Both events will be held at the prestigious Hilton Hotel in St. Julian’s Malta, on the 6th and 7th September 2024.

The Conference is organised by the Malta Dementia Society, with the participation of the Dementia Care Directorate at the Ministry of Health and the Departments of Gerontology and Dementia Studies, and Nursing at the University of Malta. It brings together local and foreign experts in policy, health, and social care sciences in our endeavour to continue transforming the dementia landscape in Malta and raising awareness.
The Conference is being held in English.

The Gala Dinner will close off the conference in a most enjoyable way, and is a great opportunity for all the participants to meet in a social ambience. It will be an occasion to come together and celebrate over some amazing food, and live music entertainment and dancing.
In the course of the evening, an auction with some fascinating artworks donated by renowned Maltese artists and many other pieces, will be held, with all the proceeds going towards the various activities organised by the Malta Dementia Society for individuals living with dementia in the community or in residential/nursing homes, and their families.
