Refugee Week Malta Workshop Series

Refugee Week Malta Workshop Series will be held at Valletta Design Cluster on Sunday 2nd June, 5.30pm - 8.30pm.

There will be two workshops happening parallel to each other:

1. Michela Cefai will facilitate a 'A Pastizzi Experience', a pastizzi making workshop with re-imagined fillings by people from the Refugee Community who are living in Malta. This workshop is being offered in collaboration with A Pastizzi Experience and JRS Malta.
2. Francesca Zammit will share a creative reflection workshop: 'Of Home'  that invites participants to bring an object, any object, that reminds them of home. The workshop will explore these objects and their relationship to memory in a group conversation, and then find a way to transition them to paper, via drawing, writing or collaging.  Participants can bring newspapers, magazines and materials that they would like to use, especially if this relates to home.
