Training Sessions on Communications and Writing Practice

The Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector is collaborating with Jo Caruana from Finesse Group to deliver training in Capacity Building – Communications and Writing Practice. This training has been organised in collaboration with Foundation for the Promotion of Entrepreneurial Initiatives.

Content:

Goal:
– Teach participants about various writing techniques tailored to different audiences.  
– Provide opportunities for hands-on writing exercises to strengthen communication skills.

Main Points:
– Adapting writing styles to match your audience: From donors to the public  
– Understanding tone and voice for formal and informal contexts
– Writing effective press releases, social posts, and newsletters
– Group and individual practice exercises focused on improving written communication

Dates: Monday 14th April
Time: 5:30pm -7:30pm

Deadline to submit your registration is Thursday 10th April 2025 – noon.

Each voluntary organisation may apply for a maximum of 2 volunteers, nonetheless each participant is to submit their individual registration form with their personal details. This training session will have an intake of a maximum of 20 participants, hence we encourage VOs to submit their application as soon as possible to secure their spot.
