For impact event and fair 2023 - recommendations and outcomes report

The second edition of Academy of Givers' annual conference saw a healthy mix of businesses and NGOs come together to share ideas and listen to leaders within the fields of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance), Voluntary Organisations, Purpose and Giving, with the intention of collectively finding ways of creating greater positive impact within society.

The event featured inspiring talks by national and international speakers, two panel discussions, workshops and themed discussions on various topics. Such mix of thought-provoking discussions provided key outcomes and some food for thought for businesses, as well as for the Voluntary Organisations.

One widely agreed point that emerged was that the different sectors that are working towards creating change in Malta need to be collaborating more. Businesses in particular need to understand the needs of the social, cultural and environmental sectors and align to them to support positive change.
