For Impact Event and Fair 2024 - Recommendations and Outcomes

The third edition of the For Impact Event and Fair reiterated Academy of Givers' main objective of improving Corporate Responsibility and Giving efforts in Malta, while connecting Businesses with NGOs.

The event saw a healthy mix of businesses and NGOs come together to share ideas and listen to experts’ advice on Impact Investing, Systemic Change, and synergies between NGOs and Businesses. All to collectively find ways of creating a greater positive impact on society. During the event, the first Giving Report in Malta was launched, presented by Academy of Givers’ Chairman Nathan Farrugia, showing trends in Giving on the island.

The event also featured a fireside chat with the Commissioner for the Voluntary Sector Jesmond Saliba, on the topic of the upcoming reform of the Voluntary and Not-For-Profit Sector, a panel discussion, and various workshops, as well as an Impact Fair and NGO Pitch Fest, which showcased some of Malta’s most inspiring NGOs.
