Local initiatives to support this Christmas!

Christmas is a time of joy and celebrations with family and friends, but it is also a time for giving and a great time for companies to support local organisations and give back. Below are some initiatives from Voluntary Organisations to support during Christmas 2024.

• Foodbank Lifeline Foundation Reverse Advent Calendar 2024

The Reverse Advent Calendar is a brilliant way of rethinking the traditional calendar full of treats and chocolates. It’s an opportunity to teach children and the community that giving something back can truly help people in need. Support the Foodbank’s Reverse Advent Calendar Campaign and help them restock their shelves to continue providing food directly to those in need.

If you’re a company and looking for a little CSR and team building activity, they also organise days for small groups to come to their stores in Marsa and help sort and organise food by type/expiry date and then the building of the weekly packs.

• Richmond Foundation's Christmas Campaign - Gift of Therapy

People and companies can provide monetary help to Richmond Foundation through the Gift of Therapy. The donations allow Richmond Foundation to give hope and help to those who need it but cannot pay for it.
