Inspire Foundation
Inspire Foundation helps over 400 children on the autism spectrum, and children with behaviours of concern; as well as over 30 individuals suffering from profound multiple learning disabilities, through five different programmes including STAR, STEP Intensive Early Intervention, STEP Forward, School Outreach Programme and the LinC Day School Programme.
Inspire’s programmes are all aimed at supporting attendees with their educational needs, social development, as well as the development of life skills through the provision of specific strategies, materials and other resources that will help each individual’s unique learning and participation through the implementation of specific teaching approaches. They are also accredited by the National Autistic Society (NAS) in the UK which provides an autism-specific quality assurance programme for over 300 organisations across the globe, giving a seal of quality and peace of mind to service users when choosing a service for a relative. Apart from the traditional therapies such as occupational, physio and speech therapy, they also offer complementary therapies such as animal assisted therapy, therapeutic and creative arts therapy and therapy using state-of-the-art multi-sensory theatres.
There are multiple ways in which you can support Inspire Foundation. Find out more here.
Inspire Foundation was also a Changemakers semi-finalist where they pitched their initiative Rehabilitation: Creating a new lease of life. Through this, Inspire's goal is to have a rehabilitation facility that will create a new lease of life for people who are neurologically injured or have physical limitations.
