MSPCA
Promoting kindness and preventing cruelty to animals through education, advocacy and outreach activities.
The MSPCA is the oldest Animal Welfare Charitable organisation on the island, which was established in 1937.
Their main focus is the Care, Protection and Prevention of Cruelty to Animals through education, awareness and pushing for Regulation. MSPCA gives importance to the rehabilitation of their intakes and invests time in their successful rehoming. The main aim is to motivate society to be more aware of the animal community, which is often forgotten.
MSPCA's impact is primarily focused on the rehabilitation of unwanted animals. Through this, they are able to create a community of volunteers and educate to the importance of respect, loyalty, hard work, empathy and acceptance of each other.
Support needed
In-kind
In-kind support to MSPCA
This is usually the hardest time of year for MSPCA, since - as we approach the hot seasons – adoptions are very slow and abandoned pets are somehow always on the rise. Due to this, they need your support more than ever.
Here are the ways you can support MSPCA in kind:
- Vouchers from Borg Cardona - these are always great because they can be used for both food and medicine
- Wet dog food

The aim is creating awareness about the importance of sustainable living through dressing sustainably, at the same time promoting their charity shops which fuels shelter operation.
