St Jeanne Antide Foundation

The foundation needs to refurbish an old townhouse as a Charity Shop. To generate funds to sustain the services offered free of charge to families in need and as a hub from where these families can access and choose items for themselves. The approximate refurbishment costs runs between Eur20-25K.

SOAR represents a decade of service to the great courage of female survivors of domestic violence and their determination to overcome major obstacles in the system. Our dream: The Hub will serve as the national base for SOAR services. The acquired townhouse will be a survivor-run, physical safe space offering the much-required infrastructure and information relating to all services, provided for domestic violence survivors and their children. It will house offices that provide SOAR support services, two small social enterprises, and a location for several SOAR survivor-led creative and therapeutic projects to enhance survivors' social, emotional, and psychological well-being.

As the new school year approaches, SJAF is on a mission to provide underprivileged students with the tools they need to succeed.

The Story: Meet Sarah. She's a bright student with big dreams, but her family struggles to make ends meet. Last year, thanks to your support, SJAF were able to provide her with a backpack full of supplies. That small gesture empowered her to excel in her studies and ignited her passion for learning.  

Our Goal: This year, our goal is to raise €2,500 to ensure that more students like Sarah have the essentials they need to start the school year strong.

St Jeanne Antide Foundation are looking for support with regards to maintenance and refurbishing, and are in need of the following:

• Painting both internal doors to storage spaces - on both sides of the antiporta;
• Sanding and painting main door of Ċentru Antida and side doors;
• Perhaps painting feature wall between social workers’ office and gate to side corridor?).
• 2 service user’s houses: various maintenance works.
