St John Ambulance and Rescue
St John Ambulance & Rescue Malta is a voluntary organisation dedicated to humanitarian and rescue operations.
It primarily focuses on providing first aid coverage at community events, emergency medical services, conducting rescue operations, offering first aid training and delivering community support. The organisation collaborates with other emergency services, contributing to civil protection and disaster response efforts in Malta.
St John Ambulance & Rescue Malta regularly assists the Medical Department, Civil Protection Department and other National Authorities during national events, emergencies, including major fires, search and rescue operations and floods. With a longstanding history, St John Ambulance & Rescue Malta is recognized for its commitment to high-quality training and emergency services.
It fosters a culture of safety and preparedness while promoting health awareness and safety practices within the Maltese community. Overall, St John Ambulance & Rescue Malta embodies the principles of care and community service, reflecting the legacy of the Order of St John in its mission and activities.

St John Ambulance & Rescue Malta is actively working to enhance its operational capabilities by acquiring additional vehicles and equipment.
In an emergency scenario, could it be collapsed buildings, floods, fires and more, Volunteers could be exposed to various risk elements, therefore they must wear the highest safety standard personal protective clothing and equipment.
