Thrive fosters community and permaculture education on the Maltese islands. Thrive Community Gardens are in Nadur, Gozo, and they are currently working on birthing a Thrive Education and Wellness Farm in St. Paul's bay, Malta. This is a newly established organic farm in Wardija Malta that fosters a sustainable and healthy lifestyle.
They are in the very early stages of this project and are currently working on restoring the property. Thrive's mission is to create a farm where to thrive in community, learn, grow, connect with nature, each other and ourselves. They are offering education on permaculture, organic farming and wellness & wellbeing practices to support mental, physical and emotional health. On the farmland of Thrive Education and Wellness Farm the aim is to have:
- Commercial Organic Produce for events and volunteers.
- Educational and Experimental Gardens
- Kitchen Vegetable Garden
- Composting Wormeries
- Cold Compost Station
- Outdoor and Indoor Area for Events, Training and Workshops
- Large scale Food Forrest
- Seed Nursery
- Fire Circle
