Ylenia Caruana

Ylenia is a Senior Manager within Deloitte’s A&A practice, specializing in issues relating to sustainability, predominantly in relation to climate and decarbonization issues. She manages the sustainability advisory team within Deloitte Malta, and is working on a firmwide MDM approach to sustainability. She is qualified in EU studies and stakeholder consultation, and holds an MA and M.Sc. in Mediterranean security and conflict analysis and resolution.

Ylenia joined Deloitte in 2022, following 11 years’ service within the public sector, where she served within the environment, climate change and sustainability space. Ylenia has extensive experience acting as Malta’s representative at EU and UN-level meetings relating to environment and sustainability, and even co-chaired Council Working Parties during Malta’s EU Council Presidency of 2017.
